Graduation Research Discussions for the Award of a Bachelor’s Degree in the Department of Pharmacy – Faculty of Medical Sciences (Groups Three and Four)
This morning, the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Department of Pharmacy, conducted the public defense of two scientific research projects for the award of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy for students of the twelfth cohort, groups three and four.
The title of the first group’s research was:
(The protective activity of the ethanolic extract of Vachellia origena (Hunde) Kyal. & Boatwr (Fabaceae) leaves against paracetamol-induced nephrotoxicity in male guinea pigs).
The title of the second group’s research was:
(The protective activity of the ethanolic extract of Vachellia origena (Hunde) Kyal. & Boatwr (Fabaceae) leaves against paracetamol-induced hepatotoxicity in male guinea pigs).
The discussion and evaluation committee consisted of:
Prof. Dr. Abdulqawi Al-Faqih,
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mansour Saleh,
Prof. Dr. Warda Mohammed Kedma,
and Dr. Mohammed Damaj.
The committee praised the research and the methodologies used, in light of the results achieved by the researchers.
The session was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sadiq Al-Yousufi; the Secretary-General, Dr. Malik Al-Shujaa; the Director General of Media in the Governorate, Mr. Abdulbasit Al-Noua; the Head of the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Shaibi; in addition to a number of researchers and students’ guardians.
