Master’s Degree with Distinction Awarded to Researcher Mohammed Ameen Mohammed Damaj from Al Jazeera University in Public Law
The researcher, Mohammed Ameen Mohammed Damaj, was awarded a Master’s degree with distinction today from the Department of Sharia and Law – Master’s Program in Public Law at Al Jazeera University, for his thesis titled:
“Criminal Protection of Industrial Designs and Models in Yemeni Legislation (A Comparative Study)”, in the presence of Brig. Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Zakri, Deputy Governor; Brig. Gen. Mohammed Mohsen Al-Muraisi, Deputy Governor; Dr. Abdulraqib Sabeeh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and Prof. Dr. Nashwan Al-Mujammar, University President.
The discussion and examination committee consisted of:
Prof. Dr. Munir Mohammed Al-Joubi – Professor of Criminal Law, Police Academy, External Examiner – Chair.
Dr. Mufid Abduljalil Al-Salahi – Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, Al Jazeera University, Internal Examiner – Member.
Dr. Sharaf Mohammed Al-Dahan – Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, Al Jazeera University, Academic Supervisor – Member.
The committee praised the researcher’s solid academic effort in addressing a vital legal topic related to the protection of industrial property in Yemeni legislation through a comparative study that highlighted relevant legislative and criminal aspects in a distinguished scientific and analytical manner.
At the conclusion of the session, after reviewing the thesis and discussing its chapters and findings, the committee decided to award the researcher Mohammed Ameen Damaj a Master’s degree with excellent distinction.
