Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdulraqib Sabeeh, and the University President, Prof. Dr. Nashwan Al-Mujammar, the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Al Jazeera University held its regular meeting this morning for its academic and administrative staff, with the aim of evaluating the performance of the educational process and assessing the level of achievement across various departments.

The meeting was attended by the University Advisor for Quality and Strategic Planning, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Haboub; the Vice President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulqawi Al-Faqih; the Secretary-General, Mr. Abdul Salam Dawi; the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Dr. Ayed Al-Shabati; the Director of Human Resources, Mr. Mohammed Al-Attab; the Director of Public Relations, Mr. Jubran Saleh Al-Alii; the Administrative Supervisor, Mr. Alaa Qaasha; in addition to a number of faculty members, administrators, and students.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the progress of academic performance in study programs and the level of departmental commitment to the educational plan, as well as a review of administrative aspects and mechanisms for improving the work environment to ensure the quality of educational outcomes. The attendees also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between academic and administrative staff to achieve institutional integration and enhance performance efficiency in line with quality standards and academic accreditation.

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening strengths and addressing areas of weakness, contributing to the continued role of the Faculty of Science and Engineering as an active component in achieving Al Jazeera University’s vision of academic and institutional excellence.
